Amazing Leadership & Community Engagement for Direct Hires - Consultant Veracity Consulting (KS) Employee Review

Pros

If you're a direct hire (not a W2 consultant / contractor), the team interaction, opportunities to develop rapport, culture, and extra company perks are amazing. This company was built and continues to thrive on relationships and trust -- with clients, prospects and employees. Once you have proven yourself to the company and especially existing clients, you earn bargaining power for future opportunities. Company believes in work-life balance and manages expectation with clients to ensure that employees are not being overworked and when they are, look for ways to compensate the employee and/or hire additional team members to help support the workload.

Cons

If you're not a direct hire you miss out on most if not all team interaction, opportunities to develop rapport, culture, and extra company perks. Benefits are below average: only 12 total PTO days that include both vacation and sick days; only 6 total paid holidays; and 401k is offered but no company match is provided.

Pros

I had a positive experience working with Veracity Consulting. Despite being a small firm, their team radiates positivity and enthusiasm, making every interaction a delight. The flexible work environment they offer allows for a healthy work-life balance, empowering employees to excel in both their professional and personal lives.

Cons

While Veracity offers commendable employee benefits, including a flexible work environment, my experience with them was overshadowed by several shortcomings. Unfortunately, decisions often seem to be made in a vacuum, lacking transparency and input from key stakeholders. The absence of established processes and procedures creates significant friction, leading to inefficiencies and frustrations among employees. Moreover, it's concerning that there appears to be no clear vision for the company's future direction. Without a defined path forward, it's challenging for employees to align their efforts and contribute effectively to the organization's success. Overall, while Veracity has its strengths, addressing these critical issues would greatly improve the overall workplace experience and prospects for long-term growth.
