Pros
1.) Management is amazing. The management team has developed a family atmosphere, you're not just another number. I've worked at fortune 500s and mid size organizations that say they care about you. Vergys ACTUALLY cares about you. I've never been treated so well at any place of employment and didn't know you could actually love working who you work for until I joined the company. Eric is the best boss you could ask for! 2.) Pay is very, very fair. I can't say I'm an expert on the compensation level for my position or industry but I feel fairly compensated, I'm very happy with the lifestyle I'm able to live via my income from Vergys. Outside of the base level salary, Vergys also offers great benefits! Bonuses, education reimbursement, etc. The compensation also shows that they truly care about their people. 3.) Work/life balance. Other companies I've worked for had an unspoken expectation that you work long hours. You were looked down on if you weren't leaving after it was dark and your brand would be tarnished, you would be hurting your chances at promotions. Vergys is so opposite of that. They have established an expectation that work is done during work hours and they value people's personal time. It's a great work/life balance that I truly appreciate. 4.) Developing their employees. Vergys not only cares about getting the job done, but about the development of their employees. Vergys strongly encourages taking courses to develop your skills and as mentioned, offers reimbursement for doing so. The company also hosts learning sessions, during work hours, to improve skills that can apply to your professional and personal life! 5.) Upward movement. When joining Vergys, you aren't taking a title/salary you'll be stuck in forever. Vergys if very open to promoting their employees. I can't say enough how much I love working at Vergys.
