- near zero leadership/management - undefined/poorly defined strategy - incredibly top-heavy organization... ridden with corporate process - incompetent managers - many who have jobs because they are friends with the founders but would be unemployable elsewhere - lots of good talent have left and been replaced by lower caliber employees who joined in the hopes of riding the wave to a unicorn, but they aren't producers - many teams and divisions have no desire to grow the business and aren't held accountable
