Pros
They pay alright, but not for what they expect of their employees
Cons
This place is not a safe place to work for multiple reasons. The management in Grand rapids puts those with sex*al harassment cases into positions of power (team lead). Along with supervisor not reporting new cases to HR in a timely manner. It took the company 3 weeks to let an employee go after the employee publicly as*aulted a fellow coworker at the main center in front of donors and other employees. Management then wrote up the v*ctim asking them of the as*ault asking them, "how could of you handled the situation better?" Management didn't show much concern about other employees felt uncomfortable around the as*ailant within the 3 weeks prior to them getting let go. It is not required to have a chauffeur licenses to drive and operate company vehicles while transporting other coworkers at this company. Hiring individuals are physically unable to preform the job requirements safely. Creating a hazardous space for the employees and donors. The vehicles provided to transport blood drive equipment along with passsager vehicles have at least 2 service lights that have been on for 2+ months with no one addressing the issues. Along with expecting employees to drive through snow storms in these unwell maintained vehicles. Lastly the tubing that this company uses for platete collections as carcinogens and putting those carcinogens into donors every 2 weeks for 1.5 to 2 hours. This is a company that is like a family expecting employees to go above and beyond, when the company won't do anything but what's legally required of them. Versiti is okay with a 78% turn over rate in the front workers and don't seem to try and retain their employees
