Pros
Large network so professional connections are easier
Cons
This is a company that appears at face value to care about communities and employees, but once you dig deeper you will find that upper management is so disconnected from the work happening on the floor. They prey on their employees innate desire to care, do good, and to give and use that against them. While the executive team makes millions of dollars, you have phlebotomists and lab techs struggling to make ends meet while being told to turn the donor floor into a factory. Donors have been referred to as "butts in seats". While CEO Chris Miskel easily makes $2mil, the company asks employees to donate to their own business venture known as the blood research Institute. Ever since Versiti acquired the CBC in Dayton, the turn over rate had accelerated immensely, moral has tanked, and we've lost so many good donors.
