There is a lot of budget issues due to shareholders and the fact part of a group business i.e not allowed a xmas party, which is absurd for people working hard all year. It’s hard to run a professional design business, a recruitment business where it is a sales environment and a cleaning business and remunerate them all in line. Doesnt work No parking but can’t be helped, could they negotiate with the council for mass discount? How much you enjoy may depend on your team etc it’s a very large business

A company so badly set up and run they make a huge loss every year. They had to merge with their profitable sister companies so that their annual loss reduced and became more palatable for the Council investors. Led by a jumped up little ex services Hitler with a personality issue and absolutely no people skills, how he continues to cling to his job no one knows. Another example of the incompetence of the place is the ludicrously named 'People Team' which to everyone else is HR. A team made up completely of nice-but-dim gym-slip school leavers and straggly haired weirdos with absolutely no clue what they are doing. For example, numerous job offers were sent out by this team with the wrong name, position and other personal details. It takes them on average 2 weeks to respond to queries; probably as they are constantly dealing with people leaving. Vertas think because they have an awards ceremony at Milsoms (so the hoy-polloy can blow hot air up each other) and a staff social media that makes them look caring, they are far from it and don't give a toss. Avoid this organisation like the plague, unless you are completely desperate.
