Pros
Willing to go after government projects and bid prevailing wage work. Bid on PLA projects to use union labor along side of their core employees. Onsite supervision always present and approachable. They set a good example by being the first one onsite and the last one to leave. Superintendent was always helpful if there was a question about the design. If he didnt know the answer then he made it a priority to find out.
Cons
Equipment and material. Getting materials and fuel seemed to be held up on funding. Payroll, always a challenge. Checks would constantly bounce. after a lot of bad noise and penalties, getting paid was a joy.
