Pros

Employees work hard, and are sometimes rewarded with incentives like ice cream, pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers.

Cons

Shelton used to be a great team and happy place to work. Like everyone else who is still here -I'm here for the paycheck. There is no incentive - all of the monetary incentives or perks go to the Sales, Managers and Upper Management. Sad that production is mostly outsourced, jobs continue to be eliminated. Managers don't care because they still get their big monetary bonuses. We get hot dogs and ice cream. We laugh as we talk about our poor Management, they lie, use, and cheat people just to jumble the bottom line numbers, which help the Managers achieve their personal quarterly monetary bonuses. Did I mention the Managers get monetary bonuses.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We encourage employee feedback to help the business continuously improve. The Production Equipment team has been working hard to make the business a great place to work after having encountered some difficult market conditions and I’m sorry that’s not been your experience in Shelton. My job is to make Vitec a world class company and I would like to invite you to contact me personally to discuss your specific concerns. Please email me at: sbird@vitecgroup.com

Pros

Nice people that work there for the most part

Cons

This place is a joke- sinking ship that has no idea how to right it. Company losing market share and 4% revenue yoy since 2021. Leadership leaving at all levels, pay is honestly at or below poverty level at this point and micromanagement is off the rails because targets are not being met. On the verge of another huge layoff stateside.
