I started at Viget as an intern and stayed for 11+ years. Viget is an extremely special place — from the CEO on down, people at Viget genuinely care about you as a person. They invest heavily in mentorship, feedback, and connection-building with your coworkers. They value your input — you have a true opportunity to shape the direction of the company. You get to work with the full spectrum of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to interesting upstarts to major nonprofits. Viget strikes a great balance: a mature, respectful company filled with professionals who take their work seriously, but who also care about injecting playfulness and joy into their work lives.

As with all agencies, you lack some control over what clients and projects you work on, depending on what projects have been won.

This is the best place I’ve worked so far. They invest a lot in employees, support a strong inclusive culture, and truly strive to be transparent in all areas. Viget invested a lot of time and money into my growth as an employee and gave me excellent feedback (both positive and constructive) at every step of the way. I’ve always been a top performer at work but this is the first time I’ve felt challenged to try harder and do better. Pretty much everyone who works there is a legit cool human. It was a delight to have coworkers I respected and liked across the board. Unlike other places I’ve worked, I trusted that when I handed a task off to others they would complete it and actually give it their full effort. It’s like being on a group project but everyone is the A+ student.

Viget is going through hard times. The market has shifted away from the middle-cost agency and they are middle-cost. They had to do several rounds of layoffs to keep things afloat (I was impacted by it) and it meant letting go of some truly good people. I hope they find their footing and reposition themselves for the way the market is now because they’re both a great place to work and a great agency for clients to work with.
