      Pros

      Helping people in need on a daily basis. Big changes are coming to law enforcement and helping instead of penalizing people is a large part of it. Time to leave being evaluated based on the ticket numbers behind.

      Cons

      Being evaluated not on how you do your job but on the number if tickets issued. Second downer is the schedule sucks.. Find a department that runs a 10 or 12 hour schedule. The schedule run at Vsp has been around for 50 years, with little to no improvement..

      The paycheck is the only good part of the job

      Cons

      12 hour shift with no breaks , coworkers, management will always request you to cover shifts while letting your other coworkers take off work without coverage yet you have to make sure you have coverage before taking off. Some coworkers do not like to take calls. Also you aren’t appreciated for your work
