      Really exciting work/research options so it is easy to find something interesting. Great faculty available to answer questions and offer guidance

      Cons

      There is occasionally some difficulty with a university process or procedure that you have to work with. Generally, it is still a good place for students to work.

      Pros

      The experience was great. The PI was amazing and kind and I learned a lot, definitely would do it again. It yielded great results for me such as publication. I recommend for medical school or graduate school.

      Cons

      Difficult to justify if you don’t plan to have a research career, graduate or professional school because the pay is lower than other positions available in Blacksburg.
