We’re truly sorry that you had this experience at VI, especially feeling unheard and unsupported, and encountering an unprofessional situation in a conflict-resolution context. That is not the experience we want anyone to have here, and we understand how frustrating and stressful this must have been.
We appreciate your concrete suggestions regarding management, psychological safety and HR independence. We are committed to improving how we support remote colleagues, strengthening manager training around feedback and conflict handling and ensuring employees have safe, confidential channels to raise concerns.
