Pros
Promotions based on performance, not seniority. No dress code (can be a pro or con depending on your personal preferences). If position you are initially in just might not be the right fit for you you will be given the opportunity to prove yourself in another position/department rather than being kicked to the curve. Innovative teaching/mentoring program. Good people. Dogs on Fridays. Competitive pay at least in department I was employed in, as long as you are a high-performer. Your age is not an impediment. Relatively easy to obtain employment at lower level positions. Rapidly changing business so great way to develop soft skills related to adaptability and change.
Cons
Growth in terms of number of employees has somewhat stagnated recently, limiting opportunities for advancement at least relative to early years. By no means saying that there is not room for advancement, though.
