Small family feel but with benefits and resources of a medium sized company, laid back office culture (not too much micromanaging - employees are trusted to do their work, break times flexible, dress code casual.

could be some toxic/negative gossip and finger pointing at times. If you're a hard worker with new ideas, it can feel like some employees are rooting for you to fail because they feel threatened by you and are perhaps too comfortable with how things are. Also a lack of organization/systems in place... can feel very chaotic. Hard to assess your growth because they don't always have clear goals or metrics for measuring them.
