Pros
Empowering Environment - Employees are highly encouraged to voice their opinions and contribute ideas. This has really fostered a sense of ownership across the team at every level. I've always felt that my ideas matter and I have a seat at the table. Supportive Leadership - The Partners and leadership team genuinely cares about the well-being and development of everyone here. They have a clear open-door policy and do their best to build genuine relationships with everyone which makes them extremely approachable. Generally, I feel very supported by everyone. Strategic Portfolio Development - It's inspiring to see the strategic direction the company is taking with our portfolio. There's a clear focus on innovation and staying ahead of competition. Great Team Dynamics - From day one, I was welcomed with open arms by colleagues. There's a genuine eagerness among everyone to connect and build meaningful relationships as well as celebrate everyone's wins. There is a real camaraderie among the team at all levels which is nice to be around. It's refreshing to be part of a community where everyone genuinely cares about each other's well-being and success.
Cons
Things have improved significantly since I started especially in terms of organization and process. There's always room for improvement but the team seems very committed to making sure everyone feels heard and that this continues to be a great place to work for everyone. Technical Infrastructure Updates Needed - Some teams may benefit from upgrades to technical tools to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. Resource Allocation - As the team has grown, there are some processes and offerings around the office that have not kept up with the headcount growth. I think this is an easy fix from an office management perspective though! Career Growth Transparency - Annual reviews have improved significantly but I think it's always important for ongoing conversations to be happening at every level for individuals to have transparency into their areas of improvement.
