Pros

Flexible, WFH during Covid, benefits were decent.

Cons

Managers who have little to no training take on teams and often had a hands off approach. There was 0 trajectory for promotion and we were often told that they were working on it. Never had any communication around career path. Even if you were a really strong employee your boss didnt ever reach out to you to see how you were doing. When it came to review time the goals were never aligned with what we did as a team. Layoffs threw a ton of work on to others and it seems the morale is very low. They also changed benefits and have made them less desirable. 401k and health insurance are not as good as they used to be either.

Pros

Remote-friendly culture, which is genuinely appreciated and one of the few things the company gets right.

Cons

The talent drain is real and visible. Almost every skilled, experienced person I worked with has left, and the company hasn't been able to replace them. Why? Because pay is significantly below industry standard — not just in primary markets, but even in low-cost regions where competitors easily outbid them. The result is a noticeable dip in the quality of new hires across the board. Promotions have little to do with performance or merit. If you're not in the right circle, don't expect to move up regardless of your contributions. Senior leadership is full of big talk — lots of vision decks, all-hands enthusiasm, and buzzwords — but the follow-through simply isn't there. Decisions drag, accountability is absent, and the people left behind are the ones paying the price.
