Pros

If you want to dip your toes into the tech world and you are fine with doing it for your own fulfillment, this is a good place to gain some base experience.

Cons

You will be unappreciated working here unless you are deemed worthy of praise by the President, Ben. For a long time I was working alone on Fridays which was insane when we started taking on hundreds of Fiber Internet customers and I was solely responsible for taking ALL calls coming in to the NOC which included Hosted, Colo, and ISP customers and included a lot of additional responsibilities managing the NOC and keeping the ship afloat for all departments while people were away. There were a lot of issues with the roll out of Fiber Internet in new areas which added greatly to my workload. I was taking calls, responding to emails, taking chats, and processing tickets during what became one of the busiest times of the week. I had to fight with Ben who seemed to think it was my problem that I was drowning in work on a regular basis. Once he did hire on more help for Fridays, anytime someone would take time off, he would shuffle around shifts so that I was once again alone on Friday. This happened on about half of them which seemed a fine way of doing things to Ben. One of these Fridays was when he felt like we should do my performance review. I was exerting a herculean effort and didn't have the time to take any breaks or a lunch. I went into the performance review obviously a mess because I had been working for almost 8 hours straight without rest and was picked apart for a handful of tickets that came in recently still sitting in the queue. It didn't matter how much I was killing myself staying on top of tasks and keeping our clients happy. I still had a handful out of the dozens of tickets I already worked sitting in the queue and was reprimanded for it. Ben doesn't praise you no matter how hard you work nor does he apologize for needlessly putting you through the ringer. If you work here, you would probably be better off working the night shift to reduce your exposure to Ben. My biggest regret working here was moving from night shift to day shift. Even though I struggle working night shift, it was a vacation compared to what I had to do during the day. There is a deficiency working here that is insensitive to culture and person-hood. Unless you are one of the few that Ben has deemed worthy, you are naught but a machine. He will squeeze every bit of work he can out of you until you are a burnt-out husk. Employee be warned.

Pros

Working here has been an amazing experience for me. I feel that I have had the opportunity to learn and grow here in a way that I most likely wouldn't have been able to at any other company. If you are a hard and reliable worker, that will be recognized and the sky is the limit for what you can accomplish here. A Few Pros: - Growth Opportunities - LOTS of experience in different areas. If you have an interest in something and express that, the chance to dive into that area of work will be available for you to explore - No micromanaging - Good benefits (PTO, healthcare, vision, dental, etc..) - Great boss who cares about the people who work for them and listens to feedback - Working for a small company = ability to make a big impact - Amazing team to work with!!!

Cons

- If you aren't a self starter and self motivator, working here might be challenging for you. I don't necessarily think this is a con, but there definitely is an expectation put on ALL employees to find out what needs to be done and get it taken care of.

Pros

Great for exposure. A dead end otherwise

Cons

You are a glorified call center agent. They aren't growing. Sales is minimal.
