Pros
The work and mission at VRL is an easy one to connect with in your daily life - empowering women to lead. I was always deeply invested in my projects and daily responsibilities because I knew that I was helping to create a more equitable society.
The work-life balance was great! We had core hours where you had to be online. But outside of this, there was flexibility for doctors' appointments, family matters, and managing mental health.
Cons
As with any nonprofit, roles are contingent upon funding. Wish we had more time together!
