While we are glad that you liked our database system, we're sorry that you did not have a good experience during your brief time with us. Vyrian sales team positions are very difficult by nature and really require a tenacity and entrepreneurial spirit that aren't easy to "train" into a person. We expect experienced sales people to be able to get up to speed quickly. We do try to be very selective in our hiring processes to prevent mismatches, but occasionally that's exactly what happens. Good luck to you in the future.

Pros

I’m pleased with the quality of benefits here. Vyrian is good for insurance. Coverage is with Aetna and the company covers vision and dental premiums 100%. Also good parental leave benefits. Insurance is good and pay is top tier.

Cons

None. Not any to mention.

Pros

Vyrian is very exciting work that is rewarding in many ways. Pros are: 1. Steady increases in comp with good coworkers who will fill in for you. 2. Good time off package and very flexible management. 3. Opportunity for OT and weekends is abundant if you want to do it. 4. No one checking over your shoulder every 5 minutes. You are expected to be mature to do your work in a timely manner. 5. CEO is also an engineer and is easy to talk to. I did not even know he was the CEO until much later. He is always here and checking on everyone and their family. 6. Very diverse group and coworkers. 7. Internship opportunities available in the lab for engineering students. Learning new things daily. I am also very happy to see the shift to more engineering and tech backgrounds in every role because it makes communication so much better. The Vyrian family has expanded, and the changes have been good overall for the company to be competitive. Too many brokers out there on every corner pushing parts they barely test. I think it is good they are pushing for tech backgrounds and are recruiting more engineering all over. For an electronic components company, this makes sense.

Cons

None that I can think of, and if something is wrong they bend over backwards to fix right away. Honestly, my work experience is only positive.
