Pros

The people at WBUR are extremely smart, you'd be working with some pretty intellectual people, so go in with your A game. They're also incredibly friendly. The pay is pretty good too.

Cons

WBUR has high expectations for its staff, so this job is not for you if you're not willing to work long hours when needed and to be on call for breaking news. People here give 200%, everyday. This can mean working six days a week every couple/few weeks. It's a typical newsroom, but the staff is smaller so you're more in demand. Warning: It's hard to move up here, they tend to hire externally first.
