Someone will always need to deliver gas to residents and businesses. Once you are hired it's extremely rare to experience a layoff.
Cons
Little job movement and much of the leadership has been with the company for 25 plus years allowing little advancement for new blood. Most of the leadership has outdated styles and perspectives that leads by fear and intimidation instead of by development and coaching for advancement. Lots of internal race wars where non-colored are against colored and colored against different colors. So much division and diversity is a illusion that only non-colored believes is happening because they have superiority complexes. Extremely old school conservatives and lacks ability to attract new vibrant talent because they refuse to be opened to change of company culture.
