Pros
The work was decent. Remote
Cons
The team culture felt cliquish and was not inclusive of employees from different backgrounds or those with different communication styles. Communication often relied on a large 20-person group text thread, which was difficult to follow and was not an effective or streamlined method for everyone. A more structured communication system would have been more accessible and efficient.
Additionally, the manager frequently referred to staff as "dorks," "nerds," and other similar names. While these comments may have been intended jokingly, they felt unprofessional and were not appropriate language for a manager to use with employees.
