Pros

There are some good opportunities to improve ones soft skills skill set. The introduction of Arbinger was a great experience to be exposed to. For those that are new in their career life, there is an upside to learn a decent business acumen. One can expect to be successful at networking with fellow peers across different departments. There are pockets of individuals in mid-upper management who are truly invested in building up and equipping their teams , but this is far and few in between.

Cons

At times upper management actually would weaponize and exploit the "Outward Mindset" approach to manipulate direct reports. You have to be in the right clique in order to receive fair pay increases and promotion opportunities. Being held accountable to manage other departments performance without a successful path in order to do so. Lack of clarity in regards to expectations. Employee retention is a challenge for this company. No sense of urgency to be proactive / the company tends to have a reactive approach.

Pros

Tons of growth opportunity for people willing to invest in the company. My department has grown by 400% in the past 10 years. Lots of training provided. PM's are expected to have complete ownership of their projects.

Cons

Going through a digital transformation which should be good in the long term. Work life balance can be tough but it comes in waves.
