Pros

The compensation can be good if your store is in increase from last year. Get valuable management experience that will prepare for anything else you decide to do after. Easy to go from trainee to manager. Pretty easy/simple protocol to run your store. Should have hands on managers since their pay is based off your performance. Perfect job for someone with no commitments. Get 3 well deserved vacations a year.

Cons

Takes away alot of your time from family or whatever else you do outside of work. Always on call 24/7. The 6 & 2 off day rotation can change on circumstances. After working 50-60hr weeks, 1 day off isn't enough. Under certain circumstances you can lose your 2 days off. Div mgrs are known to work on their days off. Mgmt sometimes pressures you to manipulate numbers to meet bonus minimums. You can't survive on the base pay. The bonus pay system pressures you to do somethings you may not want to do, i.e. hire unreliable lazy people to meet the people quota. You will encounter people & situations from all walks of life, alcoholics, abuse victims, drug fiends, cheaters, homeless, thieves; & these are the employees I'm talking about. Some managers will screw you over (steal and cheat) on purpose to make themselves look better, same goes for manager trainees. They have nothing to lose because they're floating from store to store. The standard for WH & its employees are low.

Pros

Good money opportunity regarding tips - balances out to an above average pay at the end of the year. Easley store has good management. Company wide competitive base pay rate in the serving industry. Effective strategy for order taking, placing, and EOS duties. No seniority bias.

Cons

As any serving job, there are slow no-money-making nights. 1st and 2nd shifts are not guaranteed full time. They offer the opportunity to request low income where they will bridge the gap if you make less than minimum wage but this is almost entirely unused by the servers to the complexity of the reporting process.
