Pros

-Wide range of customers -On first or third shift you will have a fairly steady stream of customers -Most of the people you work with are nice, down-to-earth individuals.

Cons

In our area... -As a server working second shift you DON'T MAKE MINIMUM WAGE. When you are hired, you are informed that you will be compensated if your expected tips add up to less than minimum wage, but this is Not the case and trying to get the issue resolved is like pulling teeth. -Hours where there is not a single customer in the store. -If the previous shift leaves their side work unfinished (specifically dishes) you have to get that done before you can get started with your own work for the day and it can seriously put you behind.

Pros

Good money opportunity regarding tips - balances out to an above average pay at the end of the year. Easley store has good management. Company wide competitive base pay rate in the serving industry. Effective strategy for order taking, placing, and EOS duties. No seniority bias.

Cons

As any serving job, there are slow no-money-making nights. 1st and 2nd shifts are not guaranteed full time. They offer the opportunity to request low income where they will bridge the gap if you make less than minimum wage but this is almost entirely unused by the servers to the complexity of the reporting process.
