Pros

Communication and understanding is such a key aspect of working here, new ideas are discussed before being introduced. Feedback is so key so everyone really does have a voice that is heard. No idea is a bad idea! We have such a genuinely lovely spread of characters. Team bonding is valued as something important and worth doing, seeing that we mostly all work from home this allows us time to chat about us and not just our roles. The team work hard to choose activities for social events that welcome everyone's comfortabilities and tones. There does seem to be space for movement within teams to suit your needs and talents better, we have had some customer reps go into claims, and claims come into customer support ect. You do get to hang out alongside your higher ups/other teams that you wouldn't normally work with- which also helps with morale, being comfortable with the people that make the big decisions and meet some amazing people! Genuinely constantly looking at the customer perspective to ensure we are being the best provider we can (customer care is vital to our goal and that rings so true every day).

Cons

As we are growing faster and faster as a company, you would need to be someone okay with change and adjusting (which would only be a con if you would rather be somewhere that maintains the same pace). Sometimes with some changes things can feel a little stressful for a while but they pass and would always be something bound to happen in any workplace!

Pros

You're treated with dignity, respect and not micromanaged. You manage your own workload, management trust that you'll get things done. If you have personal issues outside of work that are affecting you or requires time off, management are more than understanding and genuinely want you to rest and recover. The most enjoyable part of the job is the team, there is a real sense of collaboration and comaraderie between disciplines - debates occur, but they remain constructive and don't devolve into arguments. This extends out to company wide discussions, management are very transparent around business decisions and foster a culture of open debate - you can challenge an idea without feeling like you're putting yourself at risk, your opinion will genuinely be considered and responded to - not swept under the rug like in other businesses. I've learnt a lot of skills on the job, management are keen to push you out of your comfort zone and develop you as a professional - great for your career!

Cons

No office anymore, can be a bit isolating - but retreats make up for it
