Pros
The building is very nice.
Cons
Literally everything else; management is known to wine and dine unsuspecting and relatively inexperienced talent from all over the country only to feed them stories about how great the culture at Waldrop is. Truthfully, they do this constantly because they don’t have to pay young talent as much as more experienced personnel. The landscape architect turnover rate is horrendous, likely due to the emotional and verbal abuse they are persistently subjected to, this also the most diverse department (bonus?) because no local landscape architects are willing to work here due to the reputation the department has. The engineering department is run like your typical frat house. The benefits and Christmas bonuses are a joke (unless you’re one of the company’s two experienced engineers) and good luck if you’re a woman. You’ll be treated like a secretary regardless of position or seniority, an example set by some of the more seasoned women in the office. I wrote this review in hopes that others would find it useful before making a cross-country journey to work at this beautifully decorated sweatshop. There are plenty of similar firms in the area that are willing to treat you better.
