Pros

Very flexible with accomodating to family situations and hours. Great volunteer opportunities and member of 5% club. Great manager, fun sales people and finance staff.

Cons

Pay is not always what it should be. The company may promote improvement and movement through the company but a degree doesn't always mean you get comensated any differently. Seems like some people are favored when it comes to promotions.

Pros

Good training, base salary, benefits like health insurance, 401k. Good pay plan for high volume dealerships.

Cons

Pay plan is entirely based on volume, and some rooftops are doing in a day what others do in a week. Do your research as to where you go because you can't switch to another dealership until you have tenure. The volume at Toyota is insane. Meanwhile I'm next door at the Buick GMC dealership and our volume is terrible, and I can't switch for months. I'm likely going to have to quit.
