Pros

Coworkers are great. Everyone tries to make the best out of things. Hours and pay aren't terrible starting out. Union benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Management just tried to line their own pockets by taking credit for everyone else's hard work. If you're not easily controllable, they will find things to write you up for and get you potentially fired.

Pros

Good training, base salary, benefits like health insurance, 401k. Good pay plan for high volume dealerships.

Cons

Pay plan is entirely based on volume, and some rooftops are doing in a day what others do in a week. Do your research as to where you go because you can't switch to another dealership until you have tenure. The volume at Toyota is insane. Meanwhile I'm next door at the Buick GMC dealership and our volume is terrible, and I can't switch for months. I'm likely going to have to quit.
