Pros
I've never had a employer clearly have open books on the finances and see revenues plus project progress. I really am impressed with how much they encourage financial literacy of each project we manage. No one is watching over me to see if my projects are in budget or over. And if they do run over, we know we need to do better in accessing our efforts. Currently, we are staffed with the most diverse group of people and those individuals often provide me with insights of their culture and ways I won't have considered if they weren't my colleagues. I look forward to coming into work just to engage their perspectives and learn new things and have barrels of fun.
Cons
The con's can vary but mostly it could be that we have monkey wretches thrown into our projects and sometimes we have no control over inspectors or client vendors. Sometimes, we don't know how to say no with our clients because we have some great clients confidence we want to make sure we don't disappoint. One other con is we don't have enough hours in the day sometimes. :)
