I'm conflicted writing this review, I've seen my fair share of very good and also very bad experiences here. I feel the need to point out that there's 3x other all 5 star, similarly written, without a single negative point, all posted on the same exact day, sales specific reviews on here. I am skeptical of these, there's obvious hard to miss areas of improvement here. I imagine these are either written by management, or were written by employees at management's request. There's another review here mentioning fake reviews on this page, its generally odd my coworkers don't speak like these reviews read. Cons: Managment, pay, lack of teamwork and communication, micromanagement, moral is questionable depending who you ask, internal arguing + finger pointing + conflict, intense number of rules and policies that are not always communicated or known and selectively enforced, these rules and policies are often made up on the spot to justify management wants and then never revisited, I have a general feeling I am not appreciated and management does not want me to grow. There's a general culture of "No" here. For example...."It would be more efficient if we"......"No". "Have we ever thought about"....."No". "Another idea here would be to"...."No". "I'm not sure that would work because of XYZ, could we maybe instead"...."No". Generally closed minded, not open to new ideas or even making very minor changes, sort of a "Because I said so" environment. I do not mean to just to harp on the negative, Wasabi has a number of positives! This is simply how I feel and hopefully can help the sales department improve. Is Wasabi the best place ever to work? No. Is Wasabi the worst place ever to work? No. 2/5 stars
