Pros

The coworkers I had in the Watermark office (administrative employees and engineers) were pretty tight.

Cons

Every single aspect of this job is a con. A company so shady, it illegally withheld pay from salaried employees and dumped toxic chemicals into a nearby estuary, prompting a SWAT team investigation. The company's founder made racist comments, threatened people physically in the workplace, and was prone to semi-weekly temper tantrums that brought people to tears one too many times. The silver lining: Watermark Designs and the antics of its owners/management -a weaselly, sniveling, teeny weeny father/son duo- have provided me with enough cocktail party conversation fodder to last a lifetime.

Pros

I have been at Watermark for a little over 3 years and continue to climb the ranks. I have been provided countless opportunities to grow and learn within the industry. Although it gets hectic from time to time, it is an amazing workplace where we function like a family. I could not ask for better bosses or management.

Cons

Providing inept employees too many chances to keep their job. They are too lenient with their employees, no matter their performance or work ethic.

Pros

- The son is super wonderful to work for - The check never bounces - The engineers and a couple of office folk were wonderful to work with - An actual working manufacturing plant in brooklyn, NY

Cons

- No room for growth or direct communication on how to grow within the company - The father (father/ son duo are the owners) is not professional and has daily tantrums which could include you depending on his mood or your location to his tantrum - The office manager is the land version of Ursula. She's equal parts unhappy with her life, racist and has no actual managerial skills. - there are not many businesses around, or a place to get lunch and you will have to walk to the train alone, in a sketchy area. - no talks of raises or benefits - undefined rolls which results in unequal work loads -favoritism
