Pros
None from my perspective. I met a few nice people that worked in the trenches. A few nice people that told me the truth from the beginning and what to look out for. I'm thankful for them or I would have been caught in their trap and lost my ability to be marketable for sometime. I worked for 50% of my last job pay and they treated me like I was extremely overpaid. For the problems I had to incur with their team, no-talent Management team when it comes to Technology and eCommerce I was in a very bad space for 6 months.
Cons
Was promised a lot of money to finish a project but kept coming up with reasons why not to pay me. I don't feel in my opinion that I had an honest working experience, I was simply hired to clean up their previous messes and they had no plans for me. My worst work experience I've ever had in 20 years of Post High School Employment without a question. The website had hundreds of bugs and defects and we couldn't ever move forward to roll it live because of these problems. I spent the whole 6 months just cleaning it up from one vendor to another and 100's of hours of code testing for nothing. I took the offer here when offered because they used a Job Recruiter that promised me everything then when I got hired they changed everything by 20K and made that amount part of a bonus. Deviant Management in my opinion. Make sure you get anything in writing and have an Attorney review before working here. I was offered 3 jobs that I turned down because of their BS. I left on my own after I found out there was Trademark issues potentially and from their team's advice. Although they were able to settle that out after I left, I had an offer from another employer that I declined to help finish up a critical piece of work and get the site live. It wasn't optimal but was working with many things to optimize. I filed unemployment on them, they disputed it and I never appealed or showed up for my hearing. I was just done with them completely by that time. Again I wouldn't recommend this place to work for. I talked to several employees that feel the same way I did, so my comments shouldn't not be considered disparaging and I would take legal action against them to protect my position and opinion in a hearbeat.
