Pros

Company vehicle and fuel card.

Cons

The company would go through and overhaul the pay scale, bonuses, and commission structure about once a year so that employees at my level would have to put in more hours to make the same or less than the year before.

Hello: We’ve read through your review and believe there is some confusion, our company does not have any positions in Michigan and no employees that have a job title In Home Specialist. We would very much appreciate it if you could please delete this review, as we believe it was written in error. Thank you.

Pros

You work on your own

Cons

Honestly most things about the job. They work you like a dog. You are put on mandatory 6 days a week working 12+ hours a day but are not paid for drive Time so essentially you're only getting paid for 8 to 10 hour day! You can be routed 1-2 hours away from your home with no compensation for you drive time. They set metrics that you must hit every quarter to get the pay you deserve, but most techs can't hit those numbers and are stuck at the lowest pay rate even after working there for years. There is no incentive to stay at this job as you can make less the second year as the first due to metrics that are out of your control. They led me to believe that I would work closer to home but is rarely the case, there benefits are sub par, and they demand a lot out of you! They are very understaffed due to people knowing what this company is really about. It's not the industry like they try and make you believe because other company's in this industry are doing fine. All in all, this is not a very tech friendly place to work and has no financial stability as a long term job. I'm sure management will comment on this and tell you it's not the way it is, but, talk to 90 percent of the techs that still work there and they will tell you the same. Happy to be out of there.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your comments and are currently implementing enhancements to our training program that address your concerns in communicating employee compensation. We take pride in offering company vehicles, paid vacation, health insurance, 401K and other benefits. We know that service requests can come after hours, and that isn't always ideal. However, we have a philosophy of service to our customers and try to address their needs as quickly as possible. We work to pair additional service requests with the employees who are looking for overtime opportunities that provide additional income.
