The reason they take on people who don't know what they're doing is that they create a crop of individuals who are devoted to the company. "They took a chance on me" is a common thing to hear people say. Most people don't know enough to switch out of RoR. They end up staying at Weblinc their whole career. This is great for weblinc because they actively don't want too many smart or educated people since most of their work is slavishly boring and unskilled. Note however, that there are a number of people who are very smart and skilled. These hold the responsibility to keep everything running and do the more skilled work.
The place is filthy. There are roaches. Nepotism and chaos abounds. Loud, foul-mouthed, drunkards are the celebrated norm.
