Pros

- Easily adaptable to a work-from-home environment - There are/were a handful of great people (most have left, though)

Cons

First of all, if you are looking for legitimate marketing or advertising experience, keep searching. WebbMason is more akin to a glorified printing company and you will be sorely disappointed. If that isn't enough of a deterrent, check out these cons below: - Completely centered around the sales team, although the account specialists do all of the heavy lifting in terms of work and client management (most of the time, the salespeople just get in the way of productivity) - Not far removed from the Mad Men era-- female employees are often referred to as "girls" - Textbook "Good Old Boys Club" culture - Nepotism - Pay is WELL below industry average - Worklife balance is more often than not nonexistent - Unhealthy worklife balance is actually encouraged- an employee was praised for working while in the hospital, as though that is something that should be celebrated or encouraged - There is obvious favoritism-- some employees are extremely coddled and protected; some are ignored and treated with open hostility; others kind of fall in the middle - Apparently it's okay for VP-level employees to degrade subordinates without repercussions from HR or anyone else - There's a salesperson in one of the offices who brags about being so mean and difficult that she's the reason why many account specialists in her office have quit - Not diverse or BIPOC-friendly AT ALL (microaggressions GALORE) - When given a thorough list of how to improve diversity (and with specific examples from other companies), efforts were ignored - Lots of "Lunch & Learn" meetings-- free food is great, but lunch isn't just for eating. It's also a sanity break and this is just a coy way to have employees work during what is supposed to be a break - Top-down communication is atrocious, including withholding information about pending layoffs for months and giving those impacted literally 2-hours notice - Lots of sycophants - No room for growth or advancement beyond a couple of years - Overall out of touch, stale, and stagnant
