Nice Company - Senior Web Developer Webspire Employee Review

I took the job because it was better paid compared to what other companies were paying for a similar role. But there was a (hidden) reason why.

The environment is toxic. They use sarcasm and an unpleasant tone of voice. They are gossiping. They are not taking responsibility for anything. They take every opportunity to blame you if things do not work. Their criticism is not constructive, it makes you question and doubt yourself. They put you down, either publicly or privately, by attacking your intelligence or capabilities. They have no problem humiliating or embarrassing you in front of other people. Almost daily one of me or my colleagues were hiding in the bathroom to cry. I was not able to learn anything or progress in this environment.

- the manager is really toxic and downgrades employees constantly. - me and other colleagues were bullied often, even resulted in crying at the office. - we were not respected as a person. - we were constantly told we were stupid (and much more), or our work was stupid. The feedback was subjective any only viewed through her lens. - there was a constant pressure and tensions when she was at the office. - one of us was humiliated constantly - the manager would wipe out the breadcrumbs between the keyboard on my colleagues hand. She had so much work to do that she couldn't afford to eat in the kitchen. - some employees that are more sensitive could not take it and left after 2-3 months.
