Pros
Compensation was decent and customers are friendly. The customers were a great way to network my way out of this company. They started to eliminate many roles as I was leaving making it hard to advance within be company. The 401K package was decent as well.
Cons
I initially started working for a branch that was located in Connecticut and then I was transferred to a southern Westchester branch in the New York market. Both members of the management team were reported on numerous occasions for not following policy and procedure and yet senior management turned a blind eye to it. There were these reports that were supposed to be filled out if you had suspected anything suspicious or a violation of policy; these reports were supposed to be confidential but there were not. There was a lack of privacy and confidentiality within this company. While I worked there I was asked by the management team to spy on my fellow coworker so a case would be built up against this person. Looking back on it now, this company is quite ridiculous. I should not have been asked to spy on a coworker and it was pretty absurd. Good workers are rare within this company, Each and every individual in this company does whatever they choose to do and because of the level of nepotism with senior management, the management team gets away with it. If you want honesty and integrity then this is not the company for you.
