Pros

The work environment is very laid back

Cons

The recruiters don't have HR education/experience, they base themselves in evaluating linguistic skills. The people recruiting sometimes are not native (while screening and selecting the native candidates for a specific language), or have a sciences/engineering degree displaying low quality linguistic native level to evaluate or assess the candidates. The work behavior doesn't look serious, professional or providing a stable long term job. The pay is very low having in mind they are looking for skillful and high quality linguists...

Pros

When there is work available, especially when this project first launched, you could make decent money. The Quality Improvement Program was once realistic and managers were accessible. They used to give us sick leave and it felt like a real job.

Cons

They took away our sick leave. Barely any work since Christmas, around 5 hours per week if you're lucky. The Quality Improvement Program has gone down the toilet. The quality checks constantly contradict the guidelines and the feedback from management is often contradictory and wildly inconsistent depending on the turnover. Lower level employees are constantly afraid of losing their job because there are random firings every quarter with no explanation.
