Pros

Brand awareness, Western Union has been in business for over 160 years. Higher base pay than competitors but pays lower commission over all. Provides vehicle allowance and cellphone, laptop, printer for your home office.

Cons

One trick pony. They are pushing one product which is money transfer and their market share is declining. Competition offers more services to their clients. Lots of managers are unqualified to lead sales teams to success. Very poor management skills, unsupportive and there's a lot of corporate politics. Very toxic work environment. They hired top level management from outside the company that know nothing about the business Western Union is in instead of promoting from within.

Pros

Very exciting times at Western Union with the pending acquisition of Intermex and a lot of the announcements around wallets and digital assets

Cons

The international offices seem to do a good job around cultural and office events while the US seems to lack this in some areas.

Pros

Understand that traditional remittances are dying

Cons

Not enough resources available to drive transformation. Legacy tech. Outdated systems, processes. Too much work expected per employee.
