Pros
The job was fairly dynamic and required self management skills that allowed me to feel in control of my days. I also enjoyed being a part of a key component of society and helped less privileged families feed themselves. The benefits were fine enough compared to the compensation one would receive elsewhere, particularly the health benefits.
Cons
13/hr is not nearly enough to attract and keep worthwhile employees, as a result many were difficult to work with and those who’d been with the company for a long time and were paid a reasonable wage had a chip on their shoulder. The hours required Pay for a reasonable life meant you never had time to live it.
