Remote work should be important, but with all the cons, it's not worthwhile.

Despite being a remote job, they violate client privacy by demanding screenshots of all conversations, without ever notifying the client about this practice. You can’t afford to be sick because they don’t pay for sick days, and you’re only given 6 vacation days per year, which must be managed carefully in case of emergencies. In other words, the necessary breaks from work-life are impossible—you must reserve your days off for personal emergencies. There’s no lunch break unless you have extra time, even if you’re working full-time. This means that despite the job being remote, you’re essentially chained to your desk all day. The pay is minimal, lower than the minimum wage in the U.S., Mexico, and other countries. I was told: “You work for Wing, not for the client.” This statement highlights the problem—the client is seen as nothing more than a source of income. They don’t care if you use time that the client is paying for to complete pointless administrative tasks for Wing, or worse, they expect you to do them outside of work hours. This includes recording videos of all your tasks, creating detailed documents with screenshots of your conversations with clients, and more. This situation is nothing short of digital slavery, where the illusion of freedom through remote work is shattered by an oppressive system that exploits workers, disregards basic labor rights, and prioritizes profit over human well-being.
