The caliber and quality of the people here is second to none.

The work is intense - if you are looking for a 9-5 this isn't it. But if you like a challenge and to work alongside highly motivated and talented people, you'll thrive here.

I loved the chance to work with some very talented people using the latest tech and getting the chance to work on some more interesting and challenging UI components. I also felt that I had a high level of autonomy to perform my work with only 1 short meeting per day and minimal bureaucracy. Communication was good within the team and I was always offered support when I needed it. They were also very open to suggestions I had for architecture and features. The office was also great!

As a contractor I did feel that I was on the outside a bit. Admittedly I should have spent more time in the office but I was not given a key card so I had to ask someone to let me in every time and could not get to the kitchen without help. I also did not have access to the company Slack and was not initially invited to company events or was only invited at the last minute. I think more could be done to make contractors feel more like they are a member of the team.
