Pros

- Interactive and fun conversations - Friendly Colleagues

Cons

Cons There is a lack of ownership and accountability from the senior/leadership (ST) team. Guidance and direction are often unclear. Team members are expected to make assumptions, and when decisions are made independently, they are later criticized rather than supported with constructive direction. Even when clients acknowledge timely delivery and good outcomes, internal recognition is lacking. Feedback from the ST team tends to focus primarily on shortcomings rather than achievements. Which is extremely negative There is a noticeable blame culture. Requirements and directions change frequently, and not communicated and the person gets grinded for it. The overall work culture lacks appreciation, support, and encouragement. Feedback is often subjective and based on personal judgment rather than objective performance metrics. There is significant work and opportunity disparity/ discrimination among team members; resources are not treated equally. Leave policies are inconsistently applied. Senior team members take extended leaves, while individual contributors are discouraged or criticized for utilizing their limited leave and is frowned upon. Employees are encouraged to post positive reviews on Glassdoor, which may not accurately reflect individual experiences. There is minimal to no structured training or onboarding. Employees are expected to deliver results independently without adequate knowledge transfer or support, which then heavily criticized. The ST is very rude when they communicate and often don't accept their mistakes.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We are genuinely sorry to hear that this is how you feel. That said, several points raised do not reflect how we operate or our documented policies and processes and are inaccurate. We run regular internal workshops, including agency-wide retrospectives and project-specific retros, to continuously review how we work, improve communication and address issues collectively. This is core to how we operate. We apply the same leave, performance, and personal development frameworks to ALL team members. Leave policies are applied consistently and fairly across the business. All team members are actively encouraged by both the Senior Team and our Operations Assistant to take their entitled leave, and any questions or concerns around leave are raised directly and addressed transparently. Expectations, ownership and feedback are clearly defined through structured and fully documented onboarding, regular 1:1's with Line Managers and the Senior Team, sprint planning and written constructive feedback shared monthly. This ensures clarity, accountability and continuous improvement, as a collective. Training and support are ongoing, and team members are actively encouraged to raise concerns and request guidance, at any time. As a Production Team, WIRO operates against reasonable and achievable KPI's. Accountability sits alongside autonomy, allowing team members to manage their day-to-day work with clear ownership. Transparency and Accountability are core agency values of ours, and guide how we work together. We do not tolerate discrimination, blame culture or disrespectful communication. Feedback is given to support growth and is based on delivery, quality, and outcomes. Equally, we do not tolerate a lack of accountability when agreed tasks are not completed to a reasonable standard, despite the tools, training, and support provided. Deflecting responsibility or attributing shortcomings to others creates a blame culture, which is not how we operate, nor will we tolerate, here at WIRO. Positive client results and internal achievements are very regularly recognised (both in retros with kudos and Team Slack channels) as well as regularly on social media, alongside constructive areas for improvement. We never require or pressure anyone to 'post positive reviews'. Any feedback shared publicly is voluntary. We take all feedback seriously and continuously review how we can improve. We are always open to direct, constructive dialogue and would encourage anyone with concerns to raise them through the appropriate internal channels so they can be addressed properly.

Pros

I’ve experienced significant growth during my time at the company, both professionally and personally. There is a clear culture of recognising impact and rewarding performance, and I’ve been fortunate to progress and be promoted as a result of the value I’ve been able to deliver. Career development here isn’t just discussed, it’s actively supported and actioned. The leadership and management team are genuinely supportive, approachable, and invested in their people. They listen, provide context, and are always willing to step in to help remove blockers or offer guidance when needed. There is a strong sense of trust and autonomy, which empowers you to take ownership while knowing you have the backing of the wider leadership team. The culture is collaborative, respectful, and growth-oriented. High standards are set, but they’re paired with understanding and flexibility. Contributions are recognised, and there’s a real emphasis on continuous improvement and long-term development rather than short-term wins.

Cons

The pace can be fast and priorities can evolve, particularly as the company continues to grow. This requires adaptability and proactive communication, but it’s also part of what makes the work engaging and impactful.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. Your words mean a great deal to us. They reflect exactly the culture we work hard to build. Trust, autonomy, growth and accountability. Your professionalism, can-do attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond for your team and your clients has had a real impact. It has helped the wider Senior Team and Founders step back from day-to-day delivery with confidence, focus on growth, business development and sales as well as continue building the business, for the long term. More importantly, it has empowered the whole team to work autonomously, flexibly, and with clarity against clear, measurable and reasonable KPI's. That is not easy to achieve, and it speaks volumes about your leadership and consistency! You have been a key part of WIRO’s success over the past few years. You have built deep trust with clients and within the team, and you continue to set a very high bar. Thank you for everything you do. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of WIRO, and excited to keep building the future together.

Pros

Supportive and collaborative team with a positive working culture. Great exposure to CRO, UX thinking, and real client projects. PMs are helpful and open to discussion, and there’s a strong focus on learning and improving skills. Flexible environment that allows designers to grow and take ownership of their work.

Cons

Sometimes workload can be a bit intense, especially when handling multiple projects at once. As a designer, some tasks may require stepping slightly outside of the comfort zone (e.g. working with tools or basic code), which can take time to adapt.
