1. Interesting embedded development projects to work on.
2. Technically smart people around.
3. Good Benefits especially health insurance.
Cons
There are a lot.
1. The hiring process was broken and way too standardized. It only focused on some technical topics and not on the cultural fit or vision of the company. The responsibilities and expectations were not clearly communicated before hire.
2. They are not ready when a new person joins them. I had to literally order and assemble my own pc after a week of joining. Im sorry to say but no efforts were made to develop a welcoming and positive work culture for a new hire.
3. There is not enough support or mentorship provided to the new college hire.
4. Being a French company, there is a big group in the US office that speaks in their native language during technical discussions and team outings. This does not help a nonnative speaker feel a part of the organization.
5. No ownership or responsibility of failure by leadership at any level.

Witekio Response
5y
Sorry to read about your negative experience with us. We appreciate the feedback and it will definitely help us improve. For quite some time now we significantly improved our interview & onboarding process and we are pretty confident that our Witekians feel the energy and commitment we put into their whole experience.
We are also very proud of our diversity and international context: 5 offices in 4 country and 150 talented people coming from all over the world with very different background. Hopefully, that's the kind of diveristy you're referring to.
We hope working with Witekio helped you grow and we wish you nothing but the best.
