There is a disappointing amount of trust put into the people who actually do the work. There are so many layers of leadership at the company who make it known they are more valuable than the people who make the company money. Big problem of people not feeling valued.
And every few months there's an infestation of bedbugs in the Dayton building. Woolpert won't close the office and take care of the problem. Instead they replace a few chairs every time they are discovered and then are surprised when they are found again in a month. When workers inevitably get bedbugs at home the company won't cover the cost of treatment at that person's house. Gross!
Not much vacation until you've been around for many years.
