Pros

- Diversity of people - Place to collect good stories to exchange with others - Nice premises - Decent pay for the nature of the work you do - Good overall experience if one wants to take a career break for sometime - Enjoyable short stint for people with clear exit options

Cons

There are no very specific cons, but it's a place which requires to be understood very well. It's an event management company, so understand that well before you decide to join and then you'll be sorted - you'll be doing all that is required to do that - phone calls, coordination, logistics etc. and nothing else in-spite of whatever is claimed or said. The impact, insight etc. are all buzz words and are like flavors of the season. So, focus on your own and don't get excited about what's said in management meetings. Almost everyone across the ranks is overqualified for the job they do, and they know it very well. You'll learn all that's there to learn about this job in 3 months. Post that it's all secretarial work, and needless burnout and stress. . Looking for a career here is foolish. The ones who continue for more than 2 years have their own reasons - either they are too comfortable doing repetitive tasks, or have realized that they are incompetent to work anywhere else. Very bad reputation of the company culture - laughably political, chaotic and poor management direction. Founder Schwab always had a good vision, but he looks and talks constipated, and that's what translates down the ranks. Everyone in senior management is always trying to help him relieve his constipation.

Pros

This organization is constantly evolving but I think generally in the right direction. Great place for those who strive in unstructured environments.

Cons

Hours can be long and you have to enjoy travel.

Pros

Great exposure to ideas, good broad experience that can be applied to other jobs

Cons

Lots of infighting at the top, leaks down to lower levels. The Forum makes poor hiring decisions and teams suffer.
