Pros
Sells products that are beautiful and/or tasty and decent quality. Customers (usually spending disposable income) tend to be polite, friendly, and less stressed than those in other retail environments.
Cons
Store looks nice but actually is not well maintained. Bathrooms haven't been remodeled or updated in years. Cash registers are ancient (not Point-of-Sale). Management devotes no energy to training or mentoring. It's sink or swim. They also give conflicting instructions on the regular. They expect you to do new tasks with zero training. There's very little positive feedback.
