Pros
- Smart & dedicated co-workers. Especially in engineering. - Good tooling, tech stack, services, etc with lots of cool projects addressing huge scale and cool technical problems - Potential for open source contributions and large impact (unusual for most companies of this size). - "Smaller" company feel even though there are ~2k engineers and ~4k people - Great pay, equity, benefits comparable to any of the top tech company - Twitter is an awesome product that actually impacts much of the world (even if everyone isn't tweeting)
Cons
- Some churn and attrition especially in product management leading to incoherent product decisions at times - Bad press (tech press loves to be dramatic and bash on Twitter) - Uncertainty about future/slowing growth via Live Video and other efforts (reflected in stock performance)
