      Xcel Energy is a good company to work for because they pay well. They also have great benefits.

      Cons

      They are too systematic that even though you out perform your peers you need to have certain amount of years of experience to move up the company.

      Work-life balance, okay benefits, and cemented impact on the community

      Cons

      Because the company has a bottom line, promotional paths aren't really a thing beyond individual contributor to manager. I don't know what the next level up would be besides that.
